3rd Retighten

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to update my journey. Saturday (8/21/10) was my 3rd retighten! I had sooooo much slippage along my front hairline. It took her, 3 1/2 hours (the last 2 times it took 2 1/2 hrs)!! My consultant had to redo my entire front hairline. I must say that we had to wait 2 extra weeks. I usually see her every 5 weeks but she was moving so I saw her on week 7. WE WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!!!!! TOMORROW WILL BE 4 MONTHS!!

3 months!!!

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to tell you that it has been 3 months for my sisterlock journey! I am still loving my sisterlocks and can't keep my hands out of my hair!! I am still having some slippage around the edges. My next retighten is on the 14th of August. My family (mom and sisters) are coming around since I have cut the relaxed ends off. They like my hair better without the relaxed ends. But still not down with the natural look.

I will post pics after the retighten of the 14th of next month.

Dry!!

My hair is sooo dry! I have been spraying my hair with the water (with peppermint). I am still in the early stage, does anyone have any suggestion on how to keep my hair moistorized?

Shampoo

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say "Hi". I am going to shampoo my hair tonight. Not much going on. Will someone please tell me to keep my hands out of my hair! lol. I just can't stop!! Anyway, everyone have a safe weekend!

2nd Retighten

Hello everyone, I hope that everyone is doing fine... I had my 2nd retighten on 7-3-10 and it took 2 hrs and 30 mins (6 mins shorter). I had my consultant to cut off my relaxed ends and I must say that I am LOVING MY HAIR EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE!!! I can really shake and go now!!!! I would love to hear from everyone. Let me know how your journey is going, your hair maintenance or anything that you want to share.. Here are a before and after pics.
